How to create an API key on your Go Daddy account

Creating an API Key with Go Daddy

Go to Developer.godaddy.com
Sign into your Go Daddy account
Select “API Keys”
Select “Create New API Key”
Put in “htgapi” for the name
Select “Production” under Environment
Click “Next”
The API Key is created
It is very important to then copy and paste the Key and Secret information onto a Notepad or Word Document as it will not be shown again
After your Key and Secret are copied in another document, click “Got It”
Log out of Go Daddy account
Email the API Key and Secret to Helptech Group for them to secure your website
